Is it strange that i cant wait to go into labour? iv got 4 weeks left and i cant wait to go into hospital and experience labour! im not scared at all maybe i will be closer to the time but i just keep thinking that i should be freaking out alot more about this by now which is completely unexpected as i worry about EVERYTHING, is anyone else really not bothered? I just keep saying to myself what goes up must come down, why worry it will make this harder! is this a good attitude to have or am i being niave?

its not strange at all! i love the labour bit as well as everything else! its just so magical pushing your newborn out into the world. There is no feeling like that urge to bare down. its the strongest most natural feeling ive ever experienced. And then after when you are holding your babe you feeli like the only woman who has ever been through it! :D :D

You carry on looking forward to it - its great!

lol obviously you havent been through labour before, you would be saying you cant wait for it if you had

I was looking forward to it first time round, think its better when you dont know whats coming.

I'm having a c section due to my SPD, and I'm actually looking forward to it! So I don't think you're wierd at all!!!

This will be my first section, and so don't know what to expect either, but it's all a means to an end. However it happens, we should be holding our LO's in around 4 weeks or so!

You're probably right. there's such an inevitability about it so what will worrying achieve??

I'm not sure you can ever really prepare for such an experience so it's best to go with the flow wherever possible. Here's hoping your attitude prevails and you have a lovely birth!

i've been looking forward to it since the beginning... so your not weird! unless i am too...  your probably weird!!!! :D

i keep thinking "yea i've got a high pain freshold - i'll cope" ... :rotfl:
