She just will not sit on them!!

My lg refuses point blank to sit on the toilet or potty.
I dont know what im going to do.
She turned two in june! Should she have cracked it by now.
I feel like im failing. She just point blank refuses.
Shes very clever and she sees me and plenty of other kids use the loo, she knows exactly what its for as we talk about it and have sone for ages.
People keep asking me if shes trained yet etc and im feeling really bad, its nowhere near happening.

No, my son does this too.. He has a screaming fit whereas when he was one he'd always sit on it in the bathroom and he even had a poo at some point.. He just didn't understand what it was for at the time and now he's hysterical on both.. I don't think he gets it yet. My friends daughter was late and never wanted potty.. Then I came round a bit before her 3rd birthday.. Everytime I went up the stairs to wee she ran over and asked me what are you doing.. So I said 'haaaaving a wee wee!!!' she started going on the toilet that day and had been out of nappies since! So perhaps get a semi stranger in to make it funny! My son's uncles and cousin were late too!

Your not failing. My ds is the same age, he'll sit on it but refuses to do anything! She'll come round in time. xx
