Sex during an FET

Hi ladies

Does anyone know if it is ok or an advantage to have sex before transfer during a natural FET? My DH wants us to have sex after LH surge and before transfer to increase our chances.

Has anyone got any experience with this?

Hi Lou, I was advised to use protection during my FET cycle last year but i'm not sure on the reason why. where you up to with this cycle? waiting for LH surge? x

Yes Hun will start testing for surge on Monday and then wait!! I have read that it can be good to have sperm there before transfer as it helps with implantation, I can't see that it can do any harm and they have not said we can't! I wouldn't do it after FET but might be more natural before, I guess they probably don't like it in case of multiples but surely the chances are pretty slim?

We'll in that case I would Daffo do it if I was you!!! Nothing that could help is worth a Shot!!! I'm waiting for my follow up appointment which I hope I on because really don't want to be wiring too long before fet cycle! I'm hoping to do that in September. So far we have left it a good few months between cycles to have a Break and go on holiday and get married but now I don't want to waste anymore time.

It's all go for you this month! Bring on that LH surge!!!! xx

I would go for it, we fell pregnant On the back of a cancelled cycle and were advised to use protection ( I'm classed as poor response) and found out we were expecting days before restarting the next cycle.
