September 2017 mummies

PB just dropping in to say your hcg is so high now that you're almost definitely experiencing the "hook effect" and that's why the hpt is lighter. Hugs!

I'm not bleeding or cramping. EPU won't see me unless I have bleeding, and even then they won't get me in until next week. Will just have to wait it out till Friday x

PB I'm not a September mummy but I was asked by the EPU to take a hpt prior to them seeing me. I was referred to them due to spotting and was 7+1 at the time. My hpt was faint but still there and the subsequent scan showed a little bean and a hb. I'd had strong lines previous to that one. Sending positive thoughts your way!

Google the hook effect as this could be relevant to you.

I've been having on an off stabbing pains in my pelvis / very lower stomach since yesterday I thought at first it might be gas as I was quite gassy yesterday but now I'm worried. My nausea seems to have gone for the most part and I'm only 8 weeks tomorrow. Should I be worried about these pains?

If you're not bleeding then I wouldn't worry FFO. It sounds like ligament pain and it's normal for symptoms to come and go

Hi ladies, just catching up. Welcome to all the new September mummies! 7 weeks today and got my early private scan booked for a week today to check everything is as it should be with bubs. Been having a hard time differentiating preg symptoms from being ill but definitely think the nausea has ramped up a notch, keep waking in the night feeling sick and having recurring dream/thoughts about eating plain biscuits until I give in and need to get up to eat one!

How's the pneumonia ClaireDoll? Crossing everything for your scan, I'm booking mind this weekend for next week. So nervous!

Not great Kumber still off work and still feeling awful. I think I'm a bad patient cos I'm never ill but my husband is so unsympathetic and uselss this past week that along with the hormones it's making me want to kill him :)

Ohh no! I think they're genetically designed to irritate us in first tri! Are you home from hospital at least?

A wonderful thing about pregnancy is the guilt free feasting!
Although saying that in every pregnancy I've sworn I'd eat healthily so it pays off in the long run... Then broken it start to finish Hahahaha! Currently on my second sitting of sourdough bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar

Yes I'm home questioning why I was desperate to get home in the first place lol. He actually said yesterday when he got home from work 'what have you been doing all day, is dinner on?' as I'm laid on the couch, coughing up a lung looking a pale shade of green! He'll lucky if he makes it to tri 2 at this rate!

mouse, that sounds like the perfect dinner to me lol you have whatever you feel like!

I'd have said dinner is in the freezer waiting for you to cook it!

Haha well great minds think alike kumber that's exactly what I did say - but that's too much for him, went n bought himself a take away instead and i made myself dry toast, great!

Hi everyone! Just got my bfp today, going by dates I'll be due the 30th but think I actually ovulated later so might be in the October mummies as well! This will be my 2nd baby, very excited! X

Congrats Cazzie!

I've woken up this morning just feeling really blah, I feel sick, my stomach hurts, and I feel proper lightheaded. Had a shit nights sleep too!
