September 2017 Mummas Thread!

Thanks ladies, yeah they'll come around to the idea and be happy once baby's here. It's their problem if they don't like it, this baby is very much wanted and will be very much loved, which is all that matters :)

Movement has been my main convosation topic this week. Last Sunday I was in a shop and it felt like my phone going off in my pocket but I didn't have my phone. Then a few days later I had 5 minutes of minature vibrations really low down. I have had these once a day since. Everyone is telling me it's baby but I still think it's too soon. It does feel like vibrations, tiny bubbles going very fast or like a tiny clock work toy ticking.

My bump seems huge for 14 weeks, after eating by the end of the day I look 7 months at least. Although every morning when I wake and my muscles have rested and gotten stronger I take a photo of my bump lying down to get an accurate depiction and it's deinstitutionalise bigger after 2 weeks

I would love to see poeples bumps if they are comfortable sharing? x

Lovely bump!

It's annoying our Next doesn't sell and unisex stuff so we can't take advantage. I did get 30% off new look maternity by signing up with my husbands email address. I found everything came up huge on top so I would recommend going down a size from what you normally wear ( I have put on lots of chub since getting pregnant).

I got three things I love and would recommend, their two pack maternity crop tops which are perfect to sleep in or wear round the house, their two pack of over the bump leggings are so comfy and they do a grey brushed cotton jump that I want to live in. I wore it yesterday and saw a women at 30 weeks in the exact same top x

Beautiful bumps ladies! Ill post a pic of massive tummy when i can work out how to do it. Someone at work commented on it the other day and she didnt even know I was pregnant!
I'm sure I've been feeling movements too. I thought it'd be too early (im 14 weeks) as I didnt feel anything until about 20 weeks with my first, but it feels like tiny flicks inside, just like the first time. It's all very exciting!

This is my 15 week bump on #3. I'm carrying this one quite high compared to the others, and I'm so much bigger but with everything being so loose it doesn't surprise me. Still got lots of leftover baby fat from the others so the bottom is looking bigger than it probably is.

My movement yesterday was so odd, I felt a proper roll and a head, I don't think they liked the way I was sitting! Mad that it's this early, but then I felt the other two at 18 and 16 weeks so it makes sense that I'd feel this one quite early too. I think they must be quite leggy like the boys.

I'm sooooooooo excited to start shopping, I've been eying up girls bits in the hope it's a little lady. I'd be over the moon with a boy, of course, but as it's the last one for us a girl would be extra magical.

Talked to hubby yesterday again about getting the snip and we agreed once this baby is here he'd start the ball (*snort*) rolling. I'll be so glad to never have to take the pill again!!

If you have vibrations down below defo need to check that out at the docs. I would go straight to private doc and not waste any time with midwife. My midwife kept saying it was nothing to worry about.

I was 12 weeks and had those vibrations, it felt like a phone vibrating in my pocket. I left it too late and there was a blood clot developed outside the sac. I wish I went to private doc earlier.

I was googling like mad about these vibrations and could not find anything. Im sure its nothing to worry about but please book a scan. x

Thanks, I will try to speak to someone. It's strange though as my friend had just told me to expect the sensation of bubbles a few days before it began and everyone who I have spoken to about says they felt the same thing.

I googled it and people say it's normal but I will ask my doctor just to be safe x

So I have spoken to a doctor and he has said not to worry. He thinks it's most likely muscles spasms due to the stretching. He said to worry and contact again if I get a temperature any spotting, swelling or pain.

Did you have the vibrations paired with any other symptoms Charlotte9? Thank you for sharing with me, when it comes to babies you can't be too careful X

Hi all, sorry been awol for a few weeks, been in hospital with hyperemesis, caused severe dehydration so been on the IV fluids. Discharged now on so much medication I think I rattle when I move but hopefully I can find a combination that works and the gp will prescribe, hospital have only gave me enough to last me the weekend, didn't really understand me when I said I've been trying to get help for months. Was able to eat a semi normal amount yesterday without being sick, first time in 3 months, was like a miracle!

Aw lots of lovely bumps appearing! I've lost nearly 2 stone with all the spewing so hoping a bump appears soon!

Find out next Wednesday if it's a wee boy or girl that's causing all this mischief! Very excited!

Anyone else been to the Lidl baby event this week? I got the leaflet in a magazine and sent hubby with instructions on what to get! Going to start looking at prams and cots soon!

Pemsy trust your own instincts honey, it sounds totally normal x

Id go private and don't listen to what NHS says. I was told nothing to worry about. I had harsh experience with this and will not repeat the same mistakes. I wish I went private the same day and sort this out. All you need to do is book a scan. My midwife said nothing to worry when I was spotting, when I had temperature and when I said I had a blood clot, even then she said nothing to worry about. :(

Do you take aspirin?

I did not have any other symptoms at first. It was just vibrating inside me. I could feel it throughout the day. I lost an appetite a bit. Then a week later I felt very unwell like flu. I was hot and cold and started spotting. The rest of my story is in the other thread.

I was trying to find any info on google but all forums said nothing to worry about. Im sure its nothing. Cause we all are different.

I wish I was more responsible and went to the private doc. So this is what Im going to do with my next one.

And I will take aspirin 75mg next time to thin the blood and prevent from blood clots. It also improves circulation. x

I've been feeling a sensation similar to bubbles I guess is the easiest thing to compare it to. I've only just hit 16 weeks and this is my first so I'm not expecting to feel kicks anytime soon though.

However, I don't think the kiddo likes trams. Every time I'm on one on the way into work, my stomach feels like it's flipping over and I get really dizzy and nauseous.. My nausea stopped at about 10 weeks or earlier, and I never threw up, so I dunno what this is about! Trains, tubes and cars are fine!

I also have a bump! I feel huge for a first pregnancy at 16 weeks!
I'll try and get a photo up soon :)

sorry to hear some of you have been finding it tough these past few weeks. hope you all feel better and find it easier very soon.
I haven't posted on here for a while either, it feels like this pregnancy is a little over shadowed by baby number one who likes to keep me up all hours in the night and keep me very busy and on my toes all day!
I have my 16 week appointment coming up next mo day though so that should be good. makes it feel more real, as I don't think it's fully sunk in yet!
I've felt movement too, which was surprising at 15 weeks. My previous pregnancy was at 18. Very much a light bubble/flick sensation. exciting.
I have a bump too, which oddly seems smaller in the morning, and by evening resembles a 6 month belly! I wonder why this happens, why it fluctuates so much.
Enjoyed seeing all of your bump pictures and scans, it's nice we can share these. I'm not finding out the gender of this little one so won't upload a pic, i wouldn't want any gender suggestions making me extra curious!

Hope everyone's having a lovely weekend and bumps start behaving themselves soon, and happy Mother's Day to all us expectant mummies and mum's already! XX

I don't want to worry just yet as I don't think it will help. I feel really well in myself and I am hearing from lots of friends that they have felt this and not had any problems. It's been nearly a week and no other problems but I will look after myself. Perhaps I will try to go in to see the doctor tomorrow as I spoke to one of the out of hours GPs. They were happy to give me an early scan to put me at ease at 6 weeks when they suscpected eptopic due to pain. Best to be safe.

I don't know how it works, does a scan show up a blodcot? I borrowed a Doppler today to help me relax and all seems fine so I am hoping it really is nothing to worry about.

I haven't felt anything today. It seems to be in the mornings.

I was wondering though, we have so many symptoms that come and go, could you have felt the vibrations and assumed they were linked to the clot afterwards or did the doctors actually confirm that is what you were feeling?

If you feel good you have nothing to worry about. But its worth booking a scan just to be safe. At first midwife was not sure what these vibrations were. She said could be some sort of internal bleeding cause I was spotting already.

Then the scan confirmed the blood clot which was bleeding. But my baby was fine at the time. The scan lady told me a lot of women have these clots but they don't even know. Scan people don't tell the truth just to keep the person stress free.
I saw it myself on the screen.

There is medication that can help, so you have nothing to worry. I left it too late and there was nothing they could do.

I'm more lurking at the moment I'm really struggling this pregnancy. I'm so exhausted yet I'm up all night which is killing me. I've got an infected gum which happened last pregnancy and it's really knocked me for six especially when I was already in the edge. My partners getting really annoyed at me as he's having to do all the child care today as I'm in pain and feeling sick and feint.
My bumps huge have our 16 week appointment next Thursday I'm also hoping that I'll get my 20 week scan through soon. I've felt a few little movements but nothing really obvious this time with my son he was pretty much non stop until 30 weeks. At 1) weeks you could see
My tummy going he moved so much. This one is much more quiet I can't wait to see what you're all having. We're so I'll determind to be team yellow my daughters really excited aswell about waiting.
We don't really need to buy anything which is a bit of a shame but saves some money. X
