September 2017 Mummas Thread!

Also a bit late but to comment on maternity wear, I'm trying not to buy much in maternity ranges as I find they just bump up the price so I've gone bigger in Primark for a few bits. I've found h&m over bump leggings comfy (if a tad long and I'm 5"6 so not short) but did have to seriously size up for their maternity jeans (usually a size 10 and ended up getting a 14 so they'd last me!). Also just sized up in their normal stretchy t-shirt dresses as that and leggings is my go-to at the moment. Asda's maternity range is cheap and supposed to be good. I've just got a pair of black linen trousers for work but they do come up big so stick to your normal size or even size down!

Leggings are so comfy whether you're pregnant or not. It's like the only piece of clothing that you can wear all the time that is just flat out comfy. I found a pair of jeans that amazingly still fit me too yesterday. And they just fit. They were tight as ever though. But they do still fit. I was quite amazed to be able to actually get them on and buttoned. I didn't think I would be able too get them to button up. Everything else has been size 14 or 16. However I'm afraid I might have to go a little bigger as I'm already carrying quite big with the twins. Hopefully I won't have too though.

Not been on here is aaaaaaages. Mainly cos I have been spewing but thankfully that seems to have subsided now - I had completely forgotten what it felt like to feel like myself. We had our 20 week scan on Friday - I was in for 45 minutes and then had to go away, eat a bar of chocolate and go back half an hour later cos baby was being stubborn laying right along my cervix and wouldn't shuffle anywhere so she couldn't check the spine properly. Anyway, she said there was lots of cord between it's legs so telling gender was difficult but she said it looks like a boy! I am so nervous incase she's got it wrong haha.

I never had a bump at this stage in my last pregnancy and right now it's looking pretty significant so I'm feeling a bit like an elephant at the mo! Anyone started thinking about names?

I have begun thinking of names. I just haven't picked one yet for them. But, I've gone through some names.. I was thinking James and Eric. But, I am also thinking a few others. So I don't want to fully decide yet.

Yes I like to have a little short list of 2 or 3 names an then decide when they arrive. We had Jake and Oliver last time, we thought he looked more like a Jake. This time I am loving Freddie, Oscar and William.

We have a name but struggling with a middle name :wall2:

You know that really is why I have been waiting because I would really want to decide once they are born. I just feel it is too early to name them. But, I am thinking of names. Oliver is a really nice name actually :)

We're stuck on names. At the moment we like jenson and Alfred we have girls covered. Both our other children end in ie so baby would be Alfie or Freddie for short xx

Awh I love the name Freddie :p

We've picked our girls name, Scarlett Summer :) xx

Awh, PB that's adorable!

I could think of so many girls names I liked, and we were pretty set on one, but this kiddo is a boy!
The middle name is going to be OH's first name that's for sure, and I think we're set on Logan for the first name, but I'm still a bit on the fence about it. But I can't find one that stands out as being THE ONE.

Logan is very similar to our chosen name FFO, great minds!

I like logan, we struggled with boy names before we found out gender to... they're do much harder I think!!!

We was gonna have Cody but someone close to us had there boy and used it! X

I also really like Wyatt. It's a family surname far back on my mum's side, but I'm also just a huge charmed fan!
OH doesn't really like it though lol

I love wyatt !

Had a very productive mw appointment and I'm being allowed a water birth on the mw led until !!! I'm so excited for my vba2c !!

Awh so glad you've got a plan you're happy with, Elfs!

I've considered water birth - can you have one if you have an epidural/drugs? I've been thinking of having no drugs at all, but with how uncomfortable I am just being pregnant I don't know if I have the pain threshold!

This thread has been super quiet, haven't really heard from anyone. I hope she's ok

Um, anybody else already producing colostrum? I'm 25 weeks on Saturday and noticed it for the first time two nights ago..
Kinda creeped me out!

Yep, colostrum here although thankfully it's not drenching me overnight this time around! It's sooooo sticky.

Happy v day to my little bump, feels like a positive milestone to have gotten here
