After our disappointment with the Agora last week, being told they will only treat us with DE we have booked ourselves a consultation at the Lister in London who are experts in high FSH and low ovarian reserve. There are success stories of ladies in my situation fallen pregnant using their own eggs.. We need to give it a go. Now I understand why some people go to a couple of clinics before finding the right one.. They were really helpful on the phone too..

That sounds fab, its great that they are experts in the field you need. It just shows that its worth asking for a second opinion if not completely happy with what you have been told previously. Loads of luck and I hope that Lister can provide you with more help and hope that you can use your own eggs xx

With something like this it's almost a necessity to get more than one opinion. Sounds like you should a more balanced discussion at the next clinic xx

Thanks ladies. We are really hoping they are the people for us. Ive heard mixed reviews about the consultant we are meeting. .but he is good at what he does, just read some people dont take to him. We dont want our doctor to be nice and rubbish we want him to help us have a baby xxx

I agree, who cares if he is not the most warming of people, as long as he knows what he's doing and can help you get your dream. I saw Mr Trew a while back, very well known fertility consultant. He was very to the point, no sugar coating but clearly good at what he does x
