Scottish Get Together

Ive noticed that quite a few of us are from North of the border and where it would be lovely to go to the other get together its realistically going to be hard to get to sooooooooooo, would anyone fancy meeting in Glasgow. Its quite a central point for Scotland. Does anyone have any suggestions for dates times or places????

A get together sounds a great idea, im from glasgow but no idea on good places to meet up at, will have to have a look around.
Think im gonna be quite shy if i met anybody since i dont really know anyone here whos from scotland

Im quite shy too, we can just sit and say nothing. hehe. Im from Saltcoats so Im not sure on where to go in Glasgow. I will need to ask some people from my old work if there is anywhere good.

Theres a place i go to alot called Drummonds, its a bar but theyre like a cafe too.
Its not a dump but its not exactly 5 star either but their prices on food is decent and there would be plenty of space for us all, during the day theyre pretty quiet, only at night do they get really busy.

The downsides to it though its not easy to find if you dont know glasgow very well and its not very child friendly, no baby changing areas and they have stairs up to get in so might not be the best place to meet up at.

Can i add you to my msn? i might be a bit more chatty if sorta know at least one person.

Will have a think of any other places we could go.

Just thought, theres St Enoch shopping centre, its not too far from either of the stations and easy to find.
It has a creche at the top where all the resturaunts are and it has its own little bit for buying food and drink.
It does cost per child to go in but its quite cheap, I took my neice in there once and she enjoyed herself.
We could all meet at the bottom level where the information kiosk is and when were all there head up to the top level.

Probably during the week would be easiest if that fits in with peoples work, the city is mental during the weekend.

Hi all Lucy just told me about this post i never even knew it was here, i live not far from lucy im up in ashgill so if yous set a date for glasgow then im more than happy to come along,

Lucy would it be ok if i met you somewhere as i dont know glasgow at all and with my sence of direction i would get lost....lol

Hiya,
Im ashamed, I started this post and since Ive been of sick I abandoned it but I saw Lucy had mentioned where the post had went for the Glasgow meet and wondered if it was this one.

It would still be great to meet up with everyone who can come to Glasgow and could I possible suggest Monday 17th July. Im not sure where to meet up, Arcanegirl had suggested drummonds, im not sure where that is but im sure we could get to it.

Anybody still interested??

I cant really do any later as I will be getting quite near my date.
