Hiya ladies..

I've tried to not think about ttc this cycle and failed! I usually check temp, opks and cervical position and have managed not to do it until today, when i had to have a feel! Thing is, I have a large lump on my cervix that I have never felt before and have now terrified myself that it's something dreadful. I'm on cd 15, not sure if I have O yet as not testing (last 2 cycles have been cd16/17). I have slightly sore BBs which I often get 2-3 dpo.

Anybody have any idea what it could be? I'm seeing GP in morning and also got appointment with obstetric specialist tomorrow about my prolactinoma medication.

I'm soooo stressed!!!

Try not to stress, sometimes cervix can feel lumpy due to the angle its at which can be affected by how "loaded" your bowel is (yuk!), def best to get it checked though...

no idea hun just wanted to wish you well x let us know how you get on at the docs xx

Fingers crossed that everything is okay!! X

Thanks everyone! The things we've got to go through eh? Xx

Just got back from the doctors.... apparently I have a "lovely cervix" and my lump is called a nabothian cyst, which is basically a follicle on my cervix that has been covered by a layer of cells meaning that mucus gets trapped. TMI!!!! In simple terms... I have a zit on my cervix!!! Bleugh! Apparently perfectly normal and most women get them, but quite a few don't go poking around up there to find them!

Dr was great, I thought she might think I was a freak for checking cervix position but said it was a great way, along with checking cm, of predicting fertile times.

A positive Drs experience.... woohoo!

Thanks for your support, you all deserve massive BFPs!!!!

Cay xx

This exact thing happened to me when I was ttc. I found a lump whilst checking my cervix. I went and had it checked and it was a small cyst (which has gone now).
To put your mind at rest, when talking to the nurse, she said that cervical cancer (which is what I thought it was) does not present like this in 99.9% of ladies xx

Glad its all normal for you hun.

Glad its not something serious xx
