I have been asked to go for a scan tomorrow when I will be 5 weeks 5 days because I have had three previous miscarraiges.
I was told it will be an internal one which I have had before but only when I was already miscarrying.
has anyone has a scan this early? if things are ok what should I see I have tried looking it up online but it seems to range from people saying they saw absoultey nothing to actually seeing a heartbeat etc!.
I am terrified i will go there and not see aything so can anyoe put my mind at ease about a scan at this stage!?

I have had a scan at 6 weeks and it was an internal one. They saw a little dot in my uterus. They asked me to come back in few days and we have heard hearbeat.
