Scan, Shall i find out the sex??????? Update...

Well the big day is tuesday and i really cant make my mind up.
I am soooo impatiant and i cant stand the wait, BUT my dh doesnt want to find out
Shall i try and make him change his mind or just take a deep breath and bite me lip.
Oh i hate surprises x

We both wanted to find out as we hadn't bought or planned a single thing. Most importantly we waited to see if the baby was healthy before we bought anything - now we know baby's ok and its a girl we've gone pink-shopping crazy!!

It was a joint decision to find out so we could plan the nursery & buy some cute outfits

If it is obvious what sex the baby is - perhaps ask the sonographer to write it on a piece of paper and then put it in an envelope and if you two decide you do want to know - then all you have to do is open the envelope.

I havent found out and I'm having great fun guessing! There are loads of unisex things you can buy, and I'm getting one boy outfit and one girl outfit. My OH didn't ant to know either, I think I would have asked if he hadn't felt so strongly about it. Really glad I didn't now.

We nearly caved in @ 20 week scan ut the sonograher didnt ask us if we wanted to know, so we left relieved really

Have bought white/lemon stuff and going to have a nice shopping trip once buba is here xx

I decided not to find out as OH says he prefer's surprises. I wanted him to feel involved in the pregnancy, and as I wasn't really bothered either way, I decided to not find out. But that's just us!

I want to let this one be a suprise but OH really wants to know I was still back and forth on the idea of knowing but theres no room for negotiation with him, so looks like we're finding out! Its a good thing too as ive got heaps of pink baby clothes still and ill be able to know whether to keep them or buy new blue stuff. Luckiely i bought a hell of alot of lemons creams limes and whites with jaycee so my boy can wear them too!

I hope u decide soon hun its a horrible thing, knowledge!!

Id like the suprise, but im gonna do my xmas babygro pink/blue prezzie thing instead so it will be a special finding out for us!

like you I kept swining from wanting to find out to wanting a surprise. OH definately didn't want to find out though ... and now I am really pleased that we didn't......


having lots of fun guessing with family and friends what sex the baby is going to be and the girls at work have even started placing bets on it............

we have done our nurservy out in creams and lemons so will be okay for either a boy or girl and like someone else has said there are some lovely unisex outfits out there..

but at the end of the day it is down to personal choice.....

my DH wants to know..i was suprised when he said he wanted to know i'd just always assumed we wouldn't but he is happy to go along with me...I also keep swinging...if it was so importnat to him to know i would find out ..

part of me hopes we can't see then thats descsion taken for us

if i was only having one i was gonna wait for surprise but twins seems to have changed our minds so we are finding out in @ 3 weeks

people keep asking me if I know yet and I say no but am gonna find out, they then start going on about that being awful and how I should wait! it's getting on my nerves a bit as it's our choice and if they don't want us to tell them why do they ask in first place?.....ooh it's sooo annoying!. ...anyway sorry for that, just letting it out before i scream

i think the envelope idea is a great one though and you should maybe do that. you don't seem sure you want to know so probably best to wait for now....

Gonna save my finger tips and just ditto kat......we found out cos we both wanted to know and like to be organised......not fans of surprises either - the BFP filled our surprise quota for about 3 years!!!

I been for my scan.......and... its a..........

SUSPRISE!!!!
I was very very good and said i didnt want to know.
Now i have no choice but to wait. Apart from that everything looks good x
