Scan and consultant appt

On Wednesday but OH can't come cos of work! My mum was gonna come but she has come down with a bad cold she says she will be ok bit I really don't wanna catch it feel like a pleb going on my own

You'll be fine hun. I've done It before. You do get some funny smug looks from couples though. At least I do, but then me and my oh are always getting looks cos I'm Asian and he's mixed race. Hope their nice and give you a scan pic xxx

I have been to all my consultant appointments on my own... Always feel a bit weird at first sitting there waiting on my own when pretty much everyone else is in pairs or more. But hubby can't really get the time off work, and I don't think it's fair to make him take a day's holiday! Doesn't feel weird having the actual appointment on my own though as I always have GP / docs appointments on my own. Good luck - I'm sure you'll be fine... x

Yep, I've had all my midwife and consultant appointments on my own as we have no say in what time of day they are here, so have all ended up being early afternoon. OH is a teacher and couldn't take the time off even as holiday. I just take a book and don't pay any attention to anyone else in the waiting room.
