Hey girls

just a quick update to let you know that I had to have the D&C in the end...had another scan done which showed the yolk sac was still there so to avoid any risk of infection and the worry of having a really heavy bleed when I was out I had it done. Went in on Monday at 7:30am and by 4:30pm was on the way home. Feel extremely sad, there's not a day that's gone by that I haven't cried but at the same time I feel relieved that it's over. Good luck to you all with your pregnacies, I may pop on here once in a while to see how you're all doing but in the meantime it's rest and recovery for me then hopefully start TTC sometime in the near future xxxxx

Lexus - meant to say that's fabulous news you're now 15 weeks pregnant - sounds like you fell really quickly after your MMC. That really does give me hope for the future xxxx

Bella, I really hope you start to feel better soon.

I had a mmc at 12 weeks in June after 3 days of brown discharge that everyone said was nothing. While it was hell for a week or so I really felt much better after that once the hormone levels had dropped off. I hope it's the same for you

Just FYI for anyone reading this and panicing about brown discharge. I also had a week of it this pregnancy at 13 weeks and everything seems to be fine.

Thank you Bella. It's still worrying but each week that goes by it's more reassuring. I'm glad you see it as encouraging as this can be you whenever you're ready. Like you said it's all about resting and recovering your body and your emotions now to make you strong for next time.

Oh Bella that is so sad I'm so terribly sorry for your loss. I just don't know what I would do if it happened to me. You are very brave coming on here & telling people, I don't think I'd even be brave enough to do that. Lots of love to you & ur family xxx

sorry to hear your news, the same thing happened to me last year at 11 weeks its very hard but for me it became easier in time as I thought it just didn't have all the information it needed to be a baby.

Hope the evac wasn't too bad for you. x
