Round two at the docs!!

Went back to the doctors this morning armed with DH and ready for a fight!!

Well all I can say is what a difference a doctor can make ... he was soooo lovely he was more then happy to refer us to a fertility specialist

We didnt mention that we had been told to wait 2 years by the other doc, we just said we were there to get our results and discuss our options.

My 21 bloods showed I wasnt ovulating (which we kinda already guessed) think he said my levels were 1.6 ?? no idea what he was referring to.

DH's sperm results came back healthy

He said that he could give me metformin but said there is no point making us wait any longer lets get you on the good stuff (clomid) as soon as possible ..... I love this guy!!

So now we just have to wait for our appt, he said it will take around 6 - 10 weeks which is much better then waiting 2 years!! So relieved!!

Thanks girls, I didnt even need to ask for help he was practically throwing it at me !!

He even said he would refer us to a clinic a little further away from us as it has a better reputation .... I had to restrain myself from hugging him as we left LOL

My doctor said that I didnt need any more tests like checking my tubes as the problem has already been identified as pcos.

Hope they fix you up with the good stuff as well, our BFP's seems to be that little bit closer x x x

I have to go in 5 weeks after my Colposcopy so we might be in time to be Clomid buddies!

That is fantastic news maybe I should hopefully get mine in 6 to 10 weeks hoping its sooner rather then later. Fingers crossed its around the same time would be nice to have a clomid buddy as I have heard that it can cause depression and mood swings which I am not looking forward to x x

Yeah I heard about the depression and the spots! I reckon it will be worth it though!
