Got my Results - Sorta :S

Hi Jenna. Sorry to hear about what's going on. I haven't been posting much lately...but I get on to check everyone's progress every now and then....

I read about your situation...and I went through a similiar thing a few months ago... I didn't have a period for like 65 days or something crazy like that... and then the next month it was 45 ...then 42... then my doctor put me on clomid for a month and it was 36. I'm not taking it this month bc we've had issues with my DH's sperm count results... so I'm gonna see if taking the clomid last month..."reset" my cycle and maybe it will straighten itself out on it's own now... but I'm saying all this because... my doctor said that it's doubtful for a woman to be ovulating regularly if their cycle is drastically long (i.e. over 40 days) He said...even if you do ovulate it may not be a regular ovulation (i.e. not releasing correctly or allowing enough time for fertilisation etc)... I know you have been pregnant a few times before so I'm sure you are ovulating... but maybe getting all the ovulation hormones balanced by taking something like clomid (which has very little risks except for 1 in 10 have twins) it would allow you to ovulate correctly and have a shorter cycle. It usually works within 3 months on the lowest dose... Maybe worth a mention to your doctor. Hope this helps.

Good luck and massive hugs!

blimey hun, you sure are having an ordeal. I really really hope you get sorted soon. If in doubt I would walk into your nearest hospital and demand a scan there and then for some answers.

Thinking of you

Bloody hell Jenna  there's messing someone around then there's just the ridiculous  hope you find out soon

Wow, you poor thing, I cant believe how crap your hospital is. The EPU at ours is really strict about being sensitive towards those who may have had bad news. I think I would demand a scan and demand to see whats happening while you are in there - or get your OH to. Noone deserves to be left in the dark like this.

Dont give up if AF turns up eventually, my cycles were mega long too, anything from 40 to 65 days, it was only when I started temping to see what was happening and taking Agnus castus up to ov that we managed our BFP. It is so worrying but hang in there and I really hope you get sorted out soon.

 Oh Jenna, that sucks  I hope this Dr keeps on coming through for you and knocks some heads together, it sounds like they really need it
