And your milk supply is reduced.
And presumably I'm fertile again and at risk of becoming pregnant so have to look at contraception....

Anyone else had it so soon too?

Yes I had hoped that BFing would give me at least 6 period-free months but I also got it back 6 weeks postpartum (On Boxing Day at the in-laws Christmas party. Typical!) My baby's 4 months now and I've only had one more period...I'm expecting them to just pop up randomly which is even more annoying because I can't even be prepared!

Yes, this happened to me. Its a complete bum. And yes you are fertile again, I got an implant put in for contraception: its such as small dribble of hormone it doesn't muck up feeding at all, and I went back to no periods with it, yay!

I only stopped bleeding at 6 weeks pp so I'm hoping for a bit of respite!

To be fair it was really light bleeding and I was wearing panty liners for 4 of those 6 weeks but it was a pain in the ass.
