I'm so confused! I thought because of my long cycles, my positive or even faint OPK would take AGES to come up. I have definitely got two lines, no squinting required but not as dark as control line. x

I didn't think so cos AF arrives 2 weeks later, if I'm OVing soon then this cycle will be pretty short! x AGH I wish I could get a pic, I keep looking at it, so excited to see two lines without having to try and wiggle it in the light, it came up about 10 seconds in. I know it's not a BFP but it's still so exciting! x

It sucks cos the line is visible easily to me, I really need to find my charger for my camera! x x Will upload asap. x

That's how mine look shortly before Ov. They start out really faint and then get darker and darker until BAM! definite positive.

I know what you mean about it being exciting. Wait until you get one as dark as the control line.

How many OPKs did you do before it was slap in the face dark?

First cycle I started on CD11 (2 days after period finished) and got a positive on CD15. This cycle I started testing CD12 (5/6 days after AF finished) and got a positive on CD15 & 16 - so at least I'm consistent. lol

Now I know more or less when it's going to happen I think I could probably get away with not testing until CD13/14 next time.

The first cycle I kept testing until CD21 so I used 11 OPKs in total, this cycle I knew that was it so I only did it until CD17 so used six. I'd ordered a pack of 20 off the internet to start with then ordered another 20/25 so I've got enough to last me until about March right now.

I was really early with mine & started on CD5!!!
faint lines started from CD7 until CD10
today is CD11 & line is sooooo much darker, wanna post a pic but can't do from phone
I've been doing 3 a day......& there was me saying yesterday I wasn't a POAS addict

lol I got so used to my first batch where the lines came up pretty much instantly that with the second ones there were a couple of days when I used two (so I think I actually used seven or eight for this cycle, not six like I said above) but that was just because the lines weren't showing up straight away and I thought they might be faulty.

I've learnt to trust them now though.

I'm also really pleased because I went onto Fertility Friend to look at my chart this morning and decided to take it off of the OPK setting and put it back onto their recommended setting, and straight away I got my crosshairs and coverline come up to show when I ovulated, they put me one day behind what it was on before. And I think they might be right, 10DPO instead of 11, oh well.
