Rib kick or indigestion !

I think I might have just been kicked under my ribs. I was eating a sandwich and I just got a shooting pain under my ribs and its was soooooooooo painful. It strangely was not like a kick but more like a pain the shot through the rib area for about 10 seconds. It has now gone but it really really hurt loads. Could this be indigestion though. How do I know where the babys head is?

I ask the midwife lol I have no clue where baby is. Was the pain when you breathed in? If so, probably just indigestion, get the rennies or gaviscon down your neck and see if it helps. I've been lucky and avoided rib licks somehow....yay - but it could have been that for you of course...

Intercostal condritis? Its where the muscles and tendons stretch from the rib, it was like a heart attack I was petrified. Got it with my little boy and now this pregnancy it comes and goes. Thats what mine is anyway but best to ask midwife x
