Waiting does seem to be what ttc is all about, if only we could turn back to the days where ttc was exciting!

I know! I suppose the only thing to do whilst waiting is try to do as many things as possible that you can't do when you have a family. Its difficult with trying to stay healthy and save money though!

That's what we've done these last few years is holidays etc that we couldn't do with a baby.
I was lucky with my first referral app a year ago as she was able to book me an app at the hospital there and then and it was a 4 week wait- rather than waiting for 6 weeks for a letter to come through to then have to wait even longer for the actual app.

I miss it being exciting- now it's just same old every cycle to then be crushed when at arrives x

I was thinking things like nights out, lazy weekends, lie-ins, beauty appointments and shopping on your own!
Yes its so frustrating waiting weeks just for a letter to be sent. We were waiting for a referral only to find they needed more tests to be done. Its horrible feeling its all beyond your control.

Really hope its not much longer for you.

Haha I definitely sleep in more now at the weekend as I always think to myself I may as well make the most of it haha. Might start doing more though like setting aside time to do my nails and usw a facemask etc.

It is so annoying waiting 6 weeks for a letter just to wait longer for my appointment. Why do they do it by snail mail anyway in this day and age why don't they just spend 2 seconds emailing or adding it online! Hate the dissapointment when the postman doesn't bring it. Only been 4 weeks and the last few days I've felt like shouting at the postman hahaha (not his fault I know) xxx

I reckon hubby will be told he will need do have another test done and they may do more bloods from me- so everything's up to date.

Exactly Millielaura- there's so many technology about nowadays and surely it's easier than typing up a letter.

Hopefully your much wanted letter arrives soon! X

Ah I hope so! The amount of pregnancy tests I've done lol I can't wait to get that bfp!!

I'm pretty shocked this cycle as I ovulayed naturally on cd35 which is really early for me! Now 8dpo- roughly- I haven't tempd properly this cycle but there's a clear shift in my temps and my temps are at where they normally are after ovulation. I'm normally spotting by now but no signs yet.

Gotta have bloods done between cd2-4 which is good because I thought I'd have to take a tablet to induce a period.
Would be so nice to find out I was pregnant before we start ivf! X

Have you read the ivf thread? It might give you some idea what to expect without getting scared! IVF is quite full-on but ok if you take it one bit at a time and is worth it just to give you so much more of a chance. There have been several ivf bfps on here recently!
