So im only just pregnant and im experiencing really sharp shooting pains every now and then. I've never had these before AF, is this bad news?
It's been for the last couple of days, they just happen and make me gasp in shock.
They're really deep inside up my vag (Tmi )
Has anyone had these before?
No spotting or achiness btw.
Any ideas are useful. I have had early miscarriages before but never had pain like this?

I haven't had pain like that exactly well not until much further along when the baby puts pressure on funny bits. They are actually called fanny daggers at later stages as it feels just like being stabbed ouch! What I will say is that in these early stages there are all sorts of changes and movements going on; not only is the embryo getting snuggled in and growing but also hormones are on a huge increase causing changes in your body everywhere and even relaxing parts that don't normally relax. As always, seek expert advice if you are really worried! I get little stabbing pains on both ovary side still especially if I cough or sneeze! Have you done a PT yet? CBDigi?

Yes I'm getting these. I'm 6w5d today and have been getting lots of stabbing/cramping etc.

I had a scan at 6w and 6w4d and baby is fine with heartbeat.

I honestly think these things are just part of the implantation and then stretching. If you get any one sided pain or spotting or contact your midwife or GP x

Hi holly yes I've done a few positive tests and this Superdrug digital, not done a weeks one yet (CBD) why?

Thanks Wednesday that's reassuring, I have never felt pains like them before. Even in miscarriage. I kind of wondered about twins? Do you get more pains in multiple pregnancy? But then I wondered if it was a bad sign xx

Miscarriage for me (I've had two) was all in my back and a very dull heavy ache...

Not sure on the multiples as I only have one child, but could be! Exciting!
