It's supposed to help strengthen the uterine wall and speed up labour. You're meant to start around 32 weeks and slowly build up the amount you're drinking. Have a quick google as there's some instances where it's not recommended (e.g. High BP I think). I'm 34 weeks and have just started today with half a mug x
Thanks, I have been reading up online although I have found there is a lot of conflicting advise so it does make it quite confusing. I bought some today anyway and had a mug. I don't think I'm in the category of not recommended although my last labour was quite fast.x
I got some yesterday. I've heard you're meant to start with one a day and increase to 4 cups max? How long is it before it's recommended to up from one a day? Xx
Yeah April that’s right. I’m doing it weekly but I started at 34. Just went into 35wks now and going to start 2 mugs from tomorrow, 3 the following week etc x
