Raspberry leaf tea/capsules

Just spoke to my mum about this one ladies because my brother (bradley-8yrs) was helped along by cod liver oil. my mum was a week late in this preg and a friend made her drink half pint of cod liver (it tastes awful btw!) within 3 hours my mum went into labour. when the midwife cut the cord she turned to my mum and sed "well we can tell what you have been drinking before you went into labour".

Apparently cod liver is the best (drug free) form of inducing labour, but be careful because the reason the midwife knew it was cod liver was because it leaves a fatty coloured deposit in the umbilical cord and midwifes frown apon using it, but there isn't any research or info to say its harmful!

i'm sure it was codf liver oil my mum tried when having me - all those years ago... i'll ask her as i'm not 100% sure.. definately drank an oil with orange juice... she said the MD also told her off because it was in or on the placenta... apartently the baby can slide out quite quickly....

i think i've been out off the castor oil...

will give the rasberry leaf caps a try thou around week 36/37..
