Arnica tablets and raspberry leaf tea

Ooooh
Must start with the rlt tonight!
now what does the arnica do for us?
Midwife advised me to use sweet almond or wheatgerm oil on the perinium for last few weeks too.

There's a list of the benefits of taking Arnica on the link below - basically it is said to help heal wounds and reduce bruising etc. You can buy gels with arnica in to reduce bruising - http://www.nutrasanus.com/arnica.html

I started RLT a little over a week ago and am hooked - already having 2-3 cups a day - but love fruit teas anyway. It is supposed to tone your uterus and as all of mine have been very late i thought it would help this one come sooner rather than later - only time will tell though! Oh and great for bladder control have noticed a huge difference - although not at night :(

raspberry leaf tea tones the uterus, i have been using it all the way through tri 3 and it has improved my bladder control no end!

its nice with a bit of honey and very rich in iron and good stuff too

Was that from 27 weeks then cos I don't wanna start taking it too soon but if 27 weeks is ok then I will :)

I think the NHS guidelines which suggest RLT 'brings on' labour is absolute rubbish and completely not backed up with fact

RLT tones your uterus so really as soon as you can start building it up in your body the better

I used it through the whole of my third tri and every midwife i have seen has commented on how strong my muscles are and i have noticed a massive difference in how much wee i can manage

some people use it all the way through pregnancy with no ill side-effects, some people use it from 30 weeks

what is important is getting a saturation of it in your system so it can work its magic

i love the taste too but i realise i am fairly alone there ;)
