Hi ladies.
My follie has reached 16 mm today but it still needs to grow on a bit so I'm still on gonal f til Monday and I've also been given cetrotide to do over the weekend to stop ovulation til they're ready to trigger. Iui should be done on Wednesday.
Anyways, I did my injection today (cetrotide) and it's the first time I've done it, never had to use it last cycle. My nurse told me it's the same as doing gonal f in that when you inject, you push the whole of the needle in. I did this and it actually really hurt! My gonal f injections have a bit of a sting but this was more painful the further I pushed the needle in. So my question is, do I really have to push it all the way in? I hold my hands up and say I am a wimp, I am dreading doing the next 3 injections over the weekend.
I will probably have to just do it and bear the pain of it (sounding like a major wuss now!) but it just felt too sore to be right if that makes sense. So I thought I'd see what other people think.
