question about colour b4

hey girls

i'm getting really bored with my hair colour and i haven't dyed it since i got married, i want to go back to my natural colour (i currently have dark brown hair with light mousy brown roots so it looks like i'm grey!! )

i heard about this stuff called colour b4 apparently it's supposed to strip the colour from your hair without using ammonia and all the bad chemicals was wondering has any one used it and is it safe to use whilst pregnant?

best advise is to ask a health care specialist they would know best, you wouldnt want any wrong advice in that department xx

Few months ago I went into Boots and asked a worker there if it was safe to dye hair during pregnancy, so she rang the careline of the dye company I wanted to purchase. They said that it should be safe but to get a second opinion off a doctor or midwife (basically there way of covering themselves just in case.)

I then rang NHS direct later that day for advice, and got a call back saying hair dye is perfectly safe if you use it only occasionally and not overuse it like every single day! We don't absorb enough of it to be toxic to ourselves or baby.
But with hair stripper, I'm not entirely sure. I'd assume the guidelines are the same if it doesn't say anything on the box. Could always ring the careline or ask your midwife if you're unsure.

I've dyed my hair quite a few times and been absolutely fine. Just make sure you do things like that in a well ventilated room.
