Question about Agnus Castus.

Hi ladies, hope you don't mind me popping in.

I've been trying to research AC but to be honest, not coming up with loads on it and how successful it is so thought I'd ask in the Tri's.

I've been taking it this cycle for the first time, my cycles are usually between 60 and 100+ days and going by OPKs, I've had my surge on CD13!

I'm finding this really hard to believe cos it would be amazing if it cuts my cycle by so much and even more so if we get pregnant from it. I was just wondering how many ladies concieved the month they began using AC and by how much it cut your cycle or how early you ovulated.

The first month I took it was the first month I had ever had a 28 day cycle. My previous cycles ranged between 35 and 40!

If anything my cycles were a bit short but still within the norm. My luteal phase was particularly was short. I took AC as I read about it helping your body regulate your hormones. I had taken AC from Cd1 to OV the cycle I got my BFP. I'd say it's worth a shot

Thanks hun. I stopped taking it yesterday, am CD16 today and going to do an OPK in a few mins, just to double check it's fainter! Looks like it's worked for me so far but have to wait to test as I'm only 3dpo I think! x x

Louize - Yep, feels like yesterday you got your bfp on the digi and you're already 7weeks+! It'll fly by. x x

Hi Miss July, I started taking AC in March after a 62 day cycle (they had been very irregular since coming off the pill in May 2010). First cycle off it was about 35 days (to the best of my memory) one after that was 32, then in May I started ttc (was not bding around ov or before this) that cycle was 32 days and got pregnent second month ttc when I ov'd about day 18 so for me it was a huge success. I took it only up to ov (was monitoring temps and opks) and took 4 capsules per day of holland and barrett stuff. I wish you lots of baby dust. Good luck.

Thanks hun. I've done something similar, took 4 capsules a day but I stopped on CD15. My strongest OPK was on CD13...So assume I ovulated around then? They've gone much fainter, almost non-existant so must have ovulated! Praying for BFP! x x
