Does anyone care if people who have committed crime are over crowded ?
I for one do not.

I think they have it too good in prisons as it is.

Its might be over crowded in prison but its worse on the outside :rotfl:

I can honestly say i don't give a t*ss, unless it's honest people who have been jailed for not paying council tax when they genuinely cant afford it, coz they should not be jailed :x

maybe they should take the gym and games rooms out and turn them into cells?

I have to share my small flat with my fella. lol

Im not on the news tho

I bet they dont have to put up with smelly socks and boxers everywhere

I bet they've got a pool table and every games console ever brought out aswell!!!

It get's noticed if prisons are overcrowded and say 3 people are sharing a 2 person cell etc but what about all the people in council type accommodation that are also over crowded, my friend has a tiny 1 bedroom flat that her, her fiance (will be her hubby next month!!) and her now 18 month old daughter all share. I think that's wrong, overcrowded and they are told they are on a waiting list for a 2 bedroom place but that it might take a fair while yet. Now they are a lovely, law abiding family just very short on income etc and can't be re-housed despite their overcrowding yet prisoners who might be inside for anything from robbery to murder are given all affordable luxuries and their own private space as is considered necessary and appropriate. Seems a little ironic to me really.
