I feel a mixed bag of emotions right now after finding out a couple of weeks ago that I'm pregnant again after suffering from 3 MC. I am
so anxious that it is going to happen again which I won't be able to cope with. I am currently taking low dose aspirin aswell as prenatatals and have a scan next week to give me some reassurance. Is anybody else in the same boat and has had a happy outcome? I also have a 4 year old which I cherish everyday.

Afraid I cannot relate to you but my FX for you and I hope the scan goes well.

Please let us know how you get on xx

It's really tough, I've only had 2 but am really struggling with this pregnancy. I'm questioning all my symptoms or lack of and had to book an early scan for reassurance which I've got tomorrow. I'm on low dose aspirin too.

Have you had tests done to see if there are any reasons for your previous losses? Your epu should book you in for an early scan too. How far on are you?

The only thing which has kinda helped me is the thought that statistically you are more likely to have a healthy pregnancy than not, so the odds are in our favour and hopefully we will be lucky this time x

Iv had no investigations as the doctors put it down to "bad luck" as I already have a little boy and had no issues whatsoever whilst pregnant with him. I have done a lot of reading in regards to low dose aspirin and decided to put myself on it. I have a scan next week when I should be around the 6 week mark so fingers crossed that this will give
me some reassurance.. X

Wow that's crap. I thought they would investigate even though you already have a little boy. How far on were your previous losses?

I have a four year old son and am currently 40 + 3 with a little girl.

I had three losses between them and all tests came back as normal so our losses were also put down to being just one of those things.

I've not find anything different with this pregnancy than any of the others, it's just worked out this time for whatever reason

I've struggled a lot with anxiety throughout as I've whole heartedly expected to have another miscarriage. I'm still very anxious now and really hope she comes soon!

Fingers crossed for you hun. Hope everything goes OK this time round.

XX

We had 6 mcs before this one. Now im 24 weeks with my first :)

They put mine down to bad luck to, I had tests all came back fine.
I started low dose aspirin as soon as I got my bfp this time... its worked so far and hopefully will carry on until I have LO.

Fx for you, hopefully this is your sticky bean xx

I'm so pleased that you have got your rainbow baby, I can't imagine having to go through the heartbreak of 6 MC. Was your current pregnancy the first time you used low dose aspirin? Iv read so many good things about it so immediately started taking it when I got my BFP. Xx

Yeah it was. My Dr's told me to stop taking it when I was 8 weeks when I told them I was taking it... I had never gotten past 8 weeks with the others so I said no. And will take it again if we decide to have another one after. X

Hello Hayley,

I just wanted to say I'm in the same boat after having 3 previous miscarriages (all early- between 5/6w) I am now 7 weeks pregnant- It's the furthest along I've been since having my son who has just turned three. I had the recurrent miscarriage investigations but they didn't find anything untoward and I am currently on low dose aspirin and progesterone supplements which I am convinced have made all the difference.

Definitely not out of the woods yet but just wanted to send love and luck to you and let you know I'm here if you need to talk to someone who understands how this feels. I'm hoping my anxiety will ease once I'm passed the 12 week mark.

Have you considered paying to have an early scan done?

Xxx

Sorry just saw you're booked in for a scan! I really hope this helps put your mind at rest lovely xxx

Thank you everyone for replying. Iv had some tears today thinking I'm going to MC again.. I want this so bad ! Iv booked in to have my progesterone levels checked as I believe that low levels can cause MC. X
