Hi everyone.
I have been struggling to breathe for the last two weeks or so! Thought I had chest infection and they gave me antibiotics. It didn't really do the job, but my asthma seemed to get worse, meanwhile.
Went back to doctors yesterday as could no longer cope and she has prescribed me steroids, Prednioslone, which I am taking as can't cope without them. Only a 5 day course and Asthma UK says they are OK in pregnancy, but still worrying myself silly as heard it can cause early labour/low birth weight.
Anyone been on them short term and been fine/all turned out well?
I am 18 weeks today... Can't believe that!

I took them from week 6-12 for my Crohn's disease and the baby seems fine so far! They have very little risk so I wouldn't worry :)

My line manager at work has been on them for years for colitis, including throughout her pregnancy. Her baby was perfectly fine :) x

I was on them throughout my first pregnancy (including a drip during the birth) for hyperemesis, baby and I were absolutely fine.
