Positive opk? really?

So my period was due a week ago but never turned up I know I'm not pregnant done loads of tests and doctors confirmed I'm not pregnant ..... My cycle is usually 39-40 days but I've done a ov test today and it's come up positive? Is this even possible? Can my ovulation which didn't turn up last month be 3 weeks late?

Today's opk done the same time less then 10 mins ago and the are the same so I don't no what is going on I'm so confused 3 days in a row all saying positive for ovulation yet I'm 40 day cycle and my period was due a week ago :/ please someone help

I'm also confused about how many days in a row an opk can be positive. I had a miscarriage two weeks ago, and started testing for ovulation on day 10 after d and c. It was positive on day 10 till day 14. Is it possible? My hcg levels are back to normal after the dc so it can't be that. What do you think?

opks arnt conformation of ovulation only saying your body is going to try and ovulate, so basically if you have very regular periods and you have late periods and a +opk then see your doc but more and likely they will say nothing as it is normal to have an irregular period now and again only when you have a few is when they will investigate x
