Hello! So this is my first month using OPKs. I’ve been TTC for roughly a year- 2 years without protection, one year actually “trying”. So anyway my cycles are normally 28 days. Well I got a positive OPK CD 16 and then I tested on CD 17 and got an even darker OPK with the test line being even darker than the control line. Well me and SO baby danced at 4 am following CD 16 so I guess CD 17. I guess my question is, since my first positive OPK was CD 16 would I have probably actually ovulated on CD 17 or since I got an even more positive OPK CD 17 would it be more likely that I actually ovulated on CD 18? I think too much into these things lol

If you had a darker OPK on CD17 then it’s more than likely you ovulated 12-24 hours after that.
Did you not carry on using the opks to see if they got lighter?

Thanks for the reply. I’m now only on CD 18 so I will do another OPK when I get home from work to see if it’s gotten any lighter.

I agree with @chattychar1990, if the second one was even darker then ovulation must have followed the darker one. Try to dtd today as well, it's better to have the spermies waiting instead of dtd the same day as ovulation!x
