Police recruitment

my friend applied for the police when she was in he early 30s. She got really far into the recruitment process but her medical showed she had used an inhalor and she was tuned down However she is currently a special constable and is loving doing that (as well as being in the Prison Service which she also enjoys).

Thats a shame. I think I could fall down on my eye sight. Im blind as a bat, my specs are really strong.

I must look at the special constable thing.

I can't even see the first line without glasses!

I wanted to join when I was younger but couldn't cos I'm so shortsighted. I don't know if they've changed the rules now as that was about 7 or 8 years ago.

as long as u can seee the 2nd line on the chart without glasses u will be accepted now...

i failed the medical because of that so i had my eyes lasered, its the only way if your eyes are really bad!
