So I was looking through all these lovely pics of everyone's Tri-One bumps, and noticed they're all lovely and toned!

I promised one myself, but my toned tummy is quilted by a few spare tyres!

It got me wondering, is there anyone else here who is Plus Sized, Preggers And Proud?

If you're a UK16 or above, and in Tri-One, then let me know :D

I'm a 16/18 shirt, and 18/20 jeans =]
I qualify for PPP - do you? :D

x

:wave:yep i will join your club, im about the same size as you. I had just joined slimming world to try to lose weight, paid loads for a 12 week plan and then found i was pregnant :wall2: still following the plan though so trying not to put too much on.

I lost weight when I was pegnant, I put on 7 1/2lbs and little one came out at 7lb 3oz...I actually weigh 2 stone lighter since being pregnant!! I had never eaten so healthy in my life and craved water (I HATE water!!!). I am now a size 16/18 whereas I was an 18/20 before I had Charlie!!!

i was the same size as you when found out i was pregnant this time and the last time. it doesn t really concern me. only put on 6lb when preg the last time and bubs was 8lb 2oz. i have put on about 5 lbs so far this time as well. but with my first i was a size 12/14 and put on 3st the first time.

i would lie to lose some weight after this little one born im sure running after 2 under 3 year old kids will help lol x

Im 16/18 but not preggo, but the IVF specialist told me i need to loose weight to get preggo, how shit is that?!

but im proud and happy, thats all that matters xx

Can I sneak in too, although I'm tri 2 (shhhh don't tell anyone!) ! I'm about the same size and I suppose that's the reason I hadn't put up any bumpy pics. Definately got more of a bump now but always been a bit conscious of the spare tyres so can still see them! Some day I'll be brave enough to put on a bumpy pic, but I am who I am, lumps, bump and all! :)

well i beat the lot of you because im a size 20 and with bloating now going back to a 22 but i was a 30 a yr ago so i dont care lol the amount of saggy tummy i have i could hide riplets for 9months so im not execting to show till towards end

I just like to think that Bubs is lovely and warm in there with my extra insulation, preparing him/her for the lovely summer :)

hi can i gatecrash too, im in tri 2, but im size 16 on the bottom but size 20 on the top due to humongous boobs lol xxxxx

lol! my boobs are massive too. some people say it's a gift, but it can be a curse!!! i'm size 10-12 usually so i'm not in the PPP, but thought this was a lovely thread to read :) and i guess i am PP - preggers and proud! hehe :) xxx

I'm a size 16! I'm only 5'4, so I'm going to look like a beach ball in a few months! :D

is that you in your picture lulu? you're beautiful! :) i bet you'll carry baby bump fine :D xx

I am sooooooo loving this thread!! I would love to join your PPP club!!!! I am a 16/18/20... it really depends! Size 18 in jeans, most of the time my boobs wont fit in anything smaller than an 18/20. I just found out I am pregnant last night and my weight has been a worry through TTC. Now my mind has changed to thinking about having to get a disapproving look from my doctor when I book my first appt? xxx

Don't worry too much Pudds, I was worried too, and again when I first saw the midwife and she put me on the scales (eeek!!) but they didn't say too much about weight, just that this wasn't the best time to be extreme dieting, just eat healthily as we normally should be (easier said than done!).

Yeah I have heard horror stories about people getting lectures... :( I think I would just cry. xx

hiya!
I'm a size 20/22 depending upon where I shop. Docs tried telling me to lose weight before conceiving (as it could dampen my chances) but I fell pregnant the first month of trying! No-one has really said anything about my weight whenever I have been to any appointments as my blood pressure etc is always spot on. Could be down to my weight why I'm not showing yet either even though I can feel him/her. Nice to hear from other PPP's so good luck everyone and enjoy the rest of your pregnancies xxx

Hi, I'm a thread crasher too from Tri 2 but thought this was a lovely thread! I am actually a size 10-12 but when i was carrying my son I put on 4 and a half stone so ended up with some pretty impressive stretch marks. That is what would stop me posting bump pics but its made me happy to know that other people are also of the opinion that we should be proud of our tummies, whatever shape or size or decoration because they are all doing a great job of growing our LO's.
xx

Im just glad there are a few of us because my weight is the one thing that is stopping me be tooo excited! Thats awful I think. Lots of ppl to talk about this with, I feel much happier now! x

Yes that's me.. aww thank you very much that's really sweet

In this day and age, a size 16 really isn't that big. Isn't it the national average? I am happy to be in the PPP club! :-)

What a lovely thread you have created Heulyn.
Even though I'm a 12/14 and quite busty at the top I might not completely fit in your PPP category.
But I am definately PP and glad someone has created a thread like this.
I also hadn't posted any bump ect pictures as thought I'd be the odd one out lol
