Please tell me its worth it!

I know im moaning but im in constant pain with the gall stones, I cant eat properly,I cant drive, I cant work im just sat here like a cabbage. They cant do anything for me until I have baby.
After all the heartache of my OH deciding to have a baby n go through the Reversal Vasectomy I am just feeling really sorry for ourselves that things arent going smoothly. Also Baby is kicking that hard hes hurting me n I cant sleep for it does anyone else have this? Is it normal?

I do not have what you have, but it is def. worth it Is this your first child? Think of how elated you will be when you hold your little boy and the stories you will have to tell him when he is older!

You are growing your family ~ which is a huge responsibility, but it is also a miracle! and you are a part of it.

Doubts are normal, trust me... as an older woman (35) my husband and I have had to endure some pretty stressful things with our pregnancy... too much amniotic fluid, low placenta, now too much bile acid in my blood...

Talk to your midwife and obstetrician about the doubts you have.. i am sure they will be able to help. Can you take paracetamol for the pain?

I too dont know exactly what your going through hun but if pregnancy was suppose to be easy it would be left to the men lol!
Just look at it this way, you're already 3 quarters of the way there and although these last few weeks do seem to take longer, when your holding your wee boy you will wonder where the last 40 weeks have gone and you will probably want to do it all over again!
They are totally worth it hun! Keep marching on and hopefully the midwife can give you something if your in pain!

Sorry just had to post. I had gallstones last year. OMG they are so painful. I feel so so sorry for you. Would roll around in agony all hours of the morning. Thought i was going to die and the doctors . . . do you know what they said it was indigestion or heartburn!! For nearly a year I suffered until they gave me endoscopy and a scan to discover I had gallstones. Knew we wanted to try for a baby soon, so had the op to have them removed (not a nice op, but so glad I had it done) Aw the relief!!!
I cant imagine what it must be like to have them whilst preg, but I can say that the baby will be worth it, as hard and unfair as it seems. Hang in there xxx

hey honey, i dont have any experience of gall stones but god they sound awful, i just hope it gets better and i fully agree with you, pregnancy isnt all its cracked up to be at all, but i cannot wait to have my little tiny daughter to look after. my guess is, its totally worth it and youll probably look back and not remember too much detail of feeling crappy. you deserve a very straight forward birth, and i wish you all the best. x

Aw hun, my Mum has gall stones at the moment, and she's really struggling.

But I'm sure once your lilone's here, all the pain you're going through at the moment will feel totally worth it, and you may not even remember how bad it was.

I imagine that because you can't do anything else, you're just thinking about that.

I am hoping that compared to the nasty sounding gallstones you have,m you will be a breeze at labour, as your so used to that pain, this will dampen down the labour thing and you will cope so much better

It will soooo sooo be worth it, best feeling ever in the whole world!

It's so completely worth it!!!!! Nothing compares! I spent the last months of my pregnancy in pain and saying 'no more children EVER!' and now I want another one!!!!

Thanks girls some lovely replies there. I have been given some tablets to reduce acid and to prevent me making so much bile so it doesnt agrovate stones although ive still been in agony today. They said they could prob look at inducing me early at 38 weeks. If im in too much pain in the meantime I can go into hosp again for pain relief. Just really wanted to get involved prop with doing the nursery, ive picked a carpet n blinds but not looked prop like I usually would ive just said they'll do just so I can get home. Ive just got to be posotive n stonger minded I know xxxx
