 I have been wide awake since 2.30am, I cant sleep a wink, Joseph is pertruding out my side every 5 mins n I cant stop thinking about the induction on wed. I tell you what im fed up of ppl telling me what to do, by ppl I mean MIL we told them that we want a week to ourselves to get used to baby n our dog to get used to baby before we have visitors n she was real odd about it, she keeps saying that I shouldnt feed on demand if breastfeeding but ive been told to by the midwives n health visitors. Then she says but you do what you want but then goes on to pushing some other view onto me. I wish we didnt live so close we can see her house from ours n I dont want her rounnnd every 5 mins, so much going on in my head I wish it was all over xx

Aww :hugs: hope your ok, I know what the sleep thing is like though ! I am still up at like six in the morning, then up at 12 in the afternoon! xx

I'm wide awake now too, think it is genuinely our bodies preparing for a baby to be honest.
Are you worried about the induction on wednesday? If you are, I know it's easier said than done, but sontnworry and it's all for a very good reason. You'll be meeting your LO! Just try and rest til then and relax a lot.

As for MIL, why are they all so annoying and think they know what's best?!?!? If you want a week alone with your baby then you have a week alone with your baby! I know what you mean aboutthe dog thing, my dog isn't going to be easily persuaded by a baby she will hate every minute of it so I should spend lots of time with my dog and baby too really, for everyones safety and happiness I think! I was going to have a week alone too after baby arrives but I live in a v built up area with lots of friends and family very local so will just bite the bullet, get them all out the way Goethe first few days ten spend day 3-7 with me and baby and OH.

You'll be ok, you do whatever YOU feel is right and don't let anyone else persuade you any differently. Xx

 You'll be fine, demand feeding is the way to go so dont let your mil try to change that, we tried every 3hrs scheduled on advice of mw when G wasnt gaining weight quick enough and had a nightmare 24 hrs before going back to demand feeding.
Hope your induction goes well and just think you'll be a mummy this week :)

Bidsy I wish I was being induced on wed just to have it over with. And you never know, you might even go today or tomorrow!

I can't imagine doing anything else but breast feeding on demand cos they fall asleep etc so you don't really know how full up they are. You just do what you want, she'll get the hint!
