Well, I just registered at my GPs and I think I almost slipped through the net!! I told the girl on reception that I was pregnant and asked her if I needed to make an appointment. She said no, it's fine, the hospital will get in touch. I asked her how the hospital knew I was pregnant....this went on for a few minutes and she even got her colleague involved, and they both reassured me that the hospital would be in touch. I finally said that I'd only done a HPT and they were like "OOHHHHH" and then said I needed to make an appt and get the GP to refer me. Finally! Thank goodness I kept on at them or else I might have been delivering this baby in my bathroom in 8 months!! xxx
