Please Help!

Hi everyone!

right....

this might sound daft but i cant stop thinking about it

we went to the midwife yesterday and everything was ok untill... she went to measure the baby. we are 28 weeks and are meant to measure between 26-28 cm but the midwife measured 25 cm

she said it could just be the baby lying funny but i kinda wish she'd never told us. (in a way im glad she did though) she said she will monitor my G/F and we have to go back in 3 weeks for a check up.

anyone else had the same problems?

can anyone offer any advice?

please help and put mine and my girlfriends mind at ease!

Really hun, nothing to worry about. So many women measure different to what they are supposed to whether its smaller or bigger.

It really depends how the baby is lying and how much fluid is around the baby etc.

They would only do something about it if the baby was still small later on in the pregnancy and even then the worst thing that could happen is that they refer you to a consultant who would just scan your girlfriend to check sizes etc and I bet they would say everything was fine. Don't worry about it hun.
