shite bidsy, well is your life in danger? i think if you need one then have one, what are the risks involved?? x

Oh no! I agree with flexi. Hope all is ok hun x x

:hugs: You need to way out the pros and cons hun, but if your lifes in danger then you need to have it done xxx

Have they explained it all to you properly? I know it must be a tough decision and very scary for you but you need to look after yourself.

i agree with the other girls id say go for a scan but its up to you hun, i hopeyou and baby are ok xx

What a horrible situation to be in, hope your ok xx

Sounds pretty serious to me hun, hubby had a massive PE at christmas and needed the scan to make sure the clot was in a place where it wasnt likely to migrate immediately and so they could commence warfarin therapy. Have they told you what risks are involved with the scan?Thoughts are with you xxx

Oh blimey , I agree hun , this could affect your life seriously - then you have to do it, Your baby cannot live without you X

Do ask them again exactly how it could harm baby , they should explain more so you are fully informed. You rest up and take care of yourself.

PM Amanda , she had this a couple of years ago, so would be a gret help to you

Sending you a big hug

my friend had a brain hemmorage a few months ago while pregnant and needed cat scans, she was to wear a lead suit type thing to keep danger to a minimum for baby and she had to have a few but baby was born 2 weeks ago healthy as can be. There are precations they can take if the baby is in danger hun x Good luck

Hello girls, thank you so much for your responses, It ended up radiologist said no to the scan and I had a diff kind of scan with less radiation in it and it came back clear, I am so relieved, I am home now but still have the pain so have to see my chrones specialist and an obstetrician. Just a process of elimination, I just feel drained now because i was told to make the desicion about the cat scan and we agreed to it only to get there for them to say i wasnt having it although I am pleased I didnt have to I just wish theyd have told me I could have the alternative. 3 times while I was in hosp I was told it could be fatal so we have been worried sick. I just want to be better and look forward to my baby, I was told the other week I may need a emegency C section as I had abnormal cells a few years ago which i was treated for so theres a possibility I may not dilate prop for the scar tissue. Its turning into a nightmare. All I want to do is look forward to everything xx

Oh hun im glad you didnt need the cat scan. The doctors know best. just know we are all thinking of you x
Hope everything goes ok and try to rest as much as possible x
