Hi there,
Apologies for this slightly weird request.
I'm Joe, a novelist, based in London, working on a novel that features a planned c-section. For all the YouTube videos I've watched, and forum threads I've read, and mothers and fathers I've spoken to, I still can't help feeling that it would be very different to be in the room.
So I'm wondering and I realise this is a huge ask if anyone on here would be interested in talking to me about possibly being an observer at their planned c-section?
I understand how massive a request that is, so I'd be happy to meet up and discuss anything, if that sounds at all of interest. My books are published by Penguin and my first novel, Submarine, was made into a film, directed by Richard Ayoade. The other one, Wild Abandon, won a prize for the best second novel of 2012. The forum won't let me post a link here but I have a wiki page and am googleable!
If this is at all of interest, please get in touch. And apologies again for gate-crashing your forum.
Thanks!
