We had our Bourne Hall consultation appointment this morning and saw a nice, upbeat consultant and we've decided we're going to try a natural iui cycle after my next one and if that doesn't work we'll try IVF August/September as we have a holiday in July. She feels we shouldn't jump to IVF just yet given my good egg reserve and because hubby's sperm isn't too bad at the moment and to take advantage of the potentially good after effects the lap should give me for a few months. Mixed views as part of me wanted to just crack on with IVF but I know this is the sensible approach. If we end up going to IVF we'd have been ttc for 2 years and that'll be enough! I also don't want to use all our money on iui as the chances of success are a lot lower but one go seems a good compromise, though we may have to abandon it if I ovulate on the bad tube side that month...we'll see, things will be happening at least! xx
