Pineapple

So, does the eating fresh pineapple thing work? Please say yes because I'm half way through a HUGE one but starting to struggle lol

I think I read somewhere you had to eat 7 in a row to get the stuff you need from it, but don't know how true that is! Can't be bad for you anyway

Lol it has to be the actual pineapple as the juicing process removes the thing that can stimulate labour! My midwife said 7 whole fresh pineapple to have effect, I know after about 4 mouthfuls it makes my mouth sore!! X

Blimey! 7 pineapples! I buy the pineapple fruit medley's from the supermarket and just a carton of that leaves my tongue sore...I can't imagine eating 7 whole pineapples! I wish someone would say that chips and gravy would bring on contractions...lol!

Me and OH were talking about inducing labour earlier and the whole thing about swallowing semen came up (as it does lol), and I said I didn't really feel like it. So he offered to *ahem* into some pancake mix and cook it up for me! Said I could put marmite on it!

I've just sent my husband to the chippy as I cannot stop thinking about chips and gravy! I may aswell indulge in some comfort food! I hope you enjoy your pancake and 'syrup' Becky!!

I managed 2/3 which pretty good going I thought! Mouth took a while to recover and it's given me a sore throat...surely it's not humanly possible to eat 7!!

Love the chips and gravy idea but I want chips now too!

I heard you need to eat like 7-8 a day to have any effect and the stuff in the cans doesnt count at all.
I couldnt be arsed to be honest lol

I did the swallowing semen thing the night before I went into labour!

Was hilarious. I decided I was going to pretend I was some kind of porn star and go for it. All was going well, he was loving every minute. Then came the money shot and I was so engrossed in my role play I forgot the whole point was to swallow it and remembered literally at the last second just as I was dashing to the bathroom to spit it out. I swallowed that quickly and fraught that I nearly choked and was on all fours like a cat coughing up a fur ball. Shaun had tears running down his face from laughing!

If I was a bloke and I knew I was being kinda 'used' for my semen, it would probably take the fun out of it for me, but OH really doesn't seem to mind. Lucky me
