Hi everyone

So in the last couple of hours ive started with period like cramps, seems to be quite constant but sometimes feels abit stronger, doesn't feel like contractions or anything and I havent lost any fluid.

Just wondering if anyone else has experience this? I'm 35+5 as the title of the post says

Thanks xxx

Colleen I have been having these for about a week now usually before I need to go to the toilet. But if you are worried give your midwife a ring x

Being roughly 4 weeks to your due date I would be inclined to ring the labour ward to be checked over. Maybe try a number 2 aswel. Or a little rock on the ball. Hope all is ok xx

Ring the labour ward to be on the safe side but could be braxton hicks too

I had this on Saturday and it's come back today. For me it was an achey period feeling, not cramps.
Luckily I had a midwife appointment on Monday, I told her and when she checked me the baby is nearly fully engaged, she said the pains will have been the baby engaging.

Still worth speaking to your midwife though as everyone is different.

X

I get this and it is due to having an irritable uterus that likes to contract a lot but not in an organised braxton hicks coming and going manner rather a constant cramp x

Thanks lovely, it's at 2.30! Just had my whooping cough vaccine, have any of you had it? xxx

Being 35+5 you're only just over a week shy of being considered full term, so probably it's just your body preparing for birth? :)

Yeah that's what my midwife just said... Babys head is right down in my pelvis so im probs going to be feeling these aches and pains until birth now :/ eeeeek xxx

That's crap but good at the same time Colleen. Means baby is going the right direction :-)

I had my whooping cough at 28 weeks, it's no bother :-)
