How many a day girls and from how many weeks? X
 
I think the recommended is 3 sets of 8 every day - I'm doing nowhere near this (precisely 0!) - no wonder i keep 'leaking' when I laugh/sneeze/cough LOL! :dohh: Got to get going on these ASAP!
 
My midwife told my at my stage of 25 weeks to be doing 20 a day
I am doing 0 do far also
But will be getting on to them ASAP : ) x

I think thats all there is to it thats what I do

I sit at ma desk at work and do them throughout the day and nooone knows youre doing them and when Im sitting at night I do them too

The only time I read its not good to do them is when you are peeing as it can make you not empty your bladder properly and not be good for you (someone may be able to confirm this is right or not) xx

Yes that's right :) my mw told me that you can do a couple when peeing just to check you're doing them right (as it should stop the flow of wee if you are), but then once you've got your technique right NOT to do any more when peeing as its not good for your bladder!
 
I only do them when I see something to remind me (like this thread LOL)

Everytime you go for a wee, just stop midstream 2 or 3 times. That should be all you need to do.

I do them whilst I take my dog for a walk. I don't forget that way. I hold for 5 secs and relax for 5 secs, 10 times. Then I hold for 10 and relax for 7 10 times. I just repeat until I get too tired to "hold the squeeze". I have had to work up to this however.

Don't do it whilst using the loo....u can get infections that way. That's what my MW told me. She said maybe just the once in order to work out the action u need to be doing. (it's the stop weeing mid-stream muscle). ;)

I wouldn't advise doing it everytime you go for a wee as this can actually bring a wee bit back up and cause UTI. Maybe try it once to make sure your technique is correct.
 
Be mindful ... its not just the weeing end, its' the other end too you are supposed to be pulling in

Yes I'm doing mine again ..mostly cos DH is in the bath and I'm about to piss myself!
