get it in before friday hun and you wont have to go

yeah this is true, thats why we went to glasgow to get arianna's. It's to do with the new microchip that they put into the passport behind your photo.

Thats a point do you have to take your kids to an interview if you get them a passport.

Can't belive you have to take babies to the interview

sorry for being thick but do you have to attend an interview even if your just renewing it or like changing from a child to adult passport?

Sorry hormones not thinking straight

 this is stupid, what do they ask a baby.. surely if the parents have passports that should count!

I'm having to change mine to my married name and it's £66!!!

I'm sure it was only £30 something last time :?

I know minxy the price is discusting isn't is, whenI had callum (5) I was gonna get a passport then (but didn't  ) and it would have only cost me £22.

you have to take the parents passports, the childs birth certificate and sometimes the parents birth & marriage certificate. I just took everything with me when I went down.

It's to do with the amount of fradulant passports being made/used.

Thanks not what I was told!! Obviously they dopnt interview the child but you have tot take them with you.

im confused.. oh well i will see what they say when i get baileys passport.. but i havent got my marriage certificate cant find it anyway.. and we both have passports so i dont see it as a problem, my other children both have theres to...

I'm just doing all of ours. You only have to attend an interview if you are over 16 and this is your first passport.

I have to pay adult prices for DD as I am renewing hers as she has changed her name and she will be 16 before the 5 years runs out so I have to get her an adult one.

And I also have to pay the full cost for mine because Ive changed my name. What a con!! Changing my driving licence and everything else was free.
