Pains in womb??

Anyone else been getting awful pains in the area that I can only explain as the womb? It's not period pains I know this, it's more painful and a different pain altogether. I had swabs done yesterday ready for my coil fitting next week, so if it is anything then I'll no doubt find out (and want to know 'where' it has come from!! ) But has anyone been experiencing similar????

Did you have a section? only after my section I kept getting terribly pains, turns out it was my organs re adjusting themselves, mmm yum.

Or it could be your uterus shrinking back down to size...

I had a natural birth, but PPH afterwards and passed out. Had drugs to help my womb shrink quicker so shouldn't be shrinking still! I guess I'll see what the swabs say and if nothing go to docs again!

I had a womb infection 2 weeks after birth,i had really bad pains,not like period ..but kind of dull-yet very painfull type of pains.
I don't know if it's possible to get it a couple of months after birth,but you'll know after you get your swab results.
