Ovulation spotting

Hi girls

I got a positive ovulation test on Tuesday morning (cd16) and a negative one on Wednesday morning. Both yesterday (cd19) and today (cd20) I have been spotting.

I was spotting on cd 19 & 20 last month too.

This month We last dtd on cd14 (Sunday) and cd 16 (Tuesday)

But seeing as I’m spotting again on cd 19 and cd20 does that indicate that I actually ovulate on these days and if I dtd tonight is there a small chance of conceiving??

I think the spotting can happen before, after or during ovulation, which is not helpful lol, the only way of knowing when you’ve actually ovulated is by doing the basal temping, but I would say to cover your bases properly you need to have sex every other day at least for around a 5 day period, maybe starting when you’re gettiing a nearly positive opk to around 2-3 days after it’s turned negative, to give yourself the best chance

Not sure about spotting, but if you get a pos opk on tuesday it's good to dtd on tuesday, wednesday and thursday as the pos opk just means you will ovulate in 12-36 hrs, no necessarily on tuesday.

I was planning on every other day Sunday Tuesday Thursday Saturday but had a works party on Thursday and a party on Friday so couldn’t ��

Ov spotting is usually caused by the egg breaking through...
