I was shocked when I read about this earlier, so pleased someone else has posted this. I can't believe what people find so offensive, and even once they put 'her' in a chemise... people can't even see what's underneath!
1) It's a perfectly natural form (it's by no means pornographic or inciting people to become pregnant) and it's completely dense and descriminating to think that pregnant women can not have nice clothes and/or should be asshamed and have a small section in dingy lighting at the back of a shop where most people can't see it when normal 'models' are scattered right throughout the shop .
No point having maternity ranges brought out if you can't get decent fitting undies to go with it! I know I feel like a sack of spuds crammed into my regular nic-naks
2) If a place is renowned for having an 'older' generation who are very set in their ways and bound to kick up a fuss about anything new to the area then you really should consider how sensible it is to set your shop up there And if you're going to do it then you should be expecting some stick for the first year or so whilst they get used to the idea.
