Ok Thanks for all your help girlies! I will wait till stu gets home from work at 3 and get things into action i hope we dont have to pay £375 we just dont have it!

On the pre-contract Information there is a bit that says You have no right to cancel this agreement under the consmer act 1974, the timeshare act 1992 or the financial services (distance marketing) regulations 2004.

Only just noticed this does the now mean we are the ones who dont have aleg to stand on?

They should of pointed that out to you before you signed anything.

Just ring up and complain that the man who did the deal was in such a rush and so determined to get his commission that he gave you the impression you could cancel if you changed your mind. Say he didnt give you the chance to read the small print.

Ok thanks girlies, i am still a bit worried but hopefully we will win this!!!
Well i hope so anyway! Fingers Crossed :|

I found this:

What's a cancellable agreement?

First of all, the amount borrowed (that is, the credit) must not exceed £25,000. Second, you must have signed the agreement at home (or work) following face-to-face discussions with the creditor or a representative of the creditor. For example, an agreement isn't cancellable if it's signed at the retailer's premises or is made after a telephone conversation (that is, not face-to-face).

Erm, WHY??! :?

I hope you get it sorted out. After all, the customers always right

Well girls the manage just rang me and said if someone else from another dfs store has ordered the sofa that we did then they will sent it to that store instead and i wont have to pay anything but if he cant then we have to pay 20% £280 but when we do go there to buy something from them any furniture we can use this money towards it!! He is going to ring me a few days to see if he is able to send it to another store Fingers and Toes are crossed now!
