OUR Positives!!!

oooh cool thread!

Today I
-made cupcakes with pink icing yummmm
-finished a big assignment for uni
-got the wheels on my car aligned so it won't shudder anymore lol
-found a cool jumper I had forgotten about in the back of my wardrobe

lol pretty boring but oh well!

EDIT oooh 1 day til ovulation according to my ticker wooot woooot

Ok,
Today wasn't great, mainly because Mhairi had a bad night last night!

But this thread is about finding the positives! So here goes!

1) Made potato and pea puree for Mhairi this morning

2) Pureed some raspberrys too, so that I can add them to apple or pear or baby rice!

3) Got a washing done.

4) I'm about to go for a shower!

STILL haven't washed the bedding yet

1) Asked OH if we could have chinese for dinner tonight,

2) He said yes!

3) Phoned and ordered the food,

4) Chinese was delviered

5) Stuffed my face with chinese

1) me and hannah had another great day
2) my OH let me have a lye-inn even tho it was his day off!
3) got loads of cleaning done
4) a package in the post came from my OHs family (up in scotland) loads of gifts and clothes for the girls!

Great luv! Sounds like a brill day!

Sweetcheeks - the 10th of May will be the Saturday before Mhairi's christening, so I don't think I'll make it! However, if it all gets too hectic and busy we may just run away to the meet for some sanity!

I remembered to make an appointment at the doc for my dodgy c-section wound (yes, six months on!)

I had a shower AND put makeup on!

I took Mhairi to her other Gran's and got the nursery cleaned, my room cleaned, the kitchen cleaned and the utility room cleaned!

I WASHED THE BEDDING!

AND......read Mel's thread about Baileys being ok!!!!

I remembered to make an appointment at the doc for my dodgy c-section wound (yes, six months on!)

awww im really happy for you, sounds like a brilliant day!!

1) i was actuallyable to do my mum a favour for the first time (shes ALWAYS doing them for me recently) and order her The Killers gig tickets.

2) i made a scouse pie (stew pie)

3) Hannah had fish fingers for the first time and ATE every bit!

4) place is clean and tidy.

5) done LOADS of washing 2 white washes and one dark

6) Hannah (again) has been perfect all day....

7) Emily has slept all day...

Well today has been really good for me

*OH was off work for the day
*He did morning feed
*he left me to sleep in till 11am
*I've cleaned all my bedrooms and bathroom, not just tidied actually scrubbed so nice and sparkling.
*Jack been in a cute mood laughing away
*I was so tired after all that I couldn't be bothered to go to murder mystery night my friend was doing but didn't want to let her down, got a call to say it was being cancelled due to other people dropping out
*Booked an appointment with Doctor for Monday which I needed to do
*Booked a table for Sunday so def going to The Jersey farm on Sunday so i'm looking forward to that.

Honestly after a boring few weeks today really cheered me up

All the things we're doing may seem small to other people, but they aren't to us!

Also, somehow writting it all down at the end of the day really picks me up. I haven't thought about all these things as positives in the past, but they make my life easier and happier!

Okay, today wasn't great, Mhairi is still poorly and was only interested in anything for 0.000567 of a second before she started screaming again!

But -

We did get up and go shopping with my Mum and Dad

I won £29 on the Grand National (£2 each way on the winner!)

I ate some easter egg, that I found......just hoping it wasn't last years!

Ok my postives for today
well the children's story sacks im making to sell on ebay are coming along great and im very proud of my drawings and pictures
sold one already for a great amount

i had a lovely dinner of salmon potato and salad

My man James is back in a few minutes only one day with him this week but every minute means the world to me

Im listening to my fave music singing along with happiness

i went out last night and 33 weeks preggers showed everyone up as im the DANCE QUEEN and there all light weights
cant keep up with me

My positives from today:-

*I had a lazy morning with DD and we caught up on our Hollyoaks viewing from the week and played with lots of toys (we never do this - just relaxing at home, we're so busy zooming around all the time!)

*I caught up with a friend of mine and her LO, gave her my spare VTech walker and offered to do her a big favour

*OH gets home late tonight and doesn't have any gig commitments until next weekend

*I fed DD lovely home cooked/home made food (always do this, but do forget what a big achievement it is)

*Going to have a bath and an early night!

Lainey I love this thread.. I've been focusing on the negatives too much lately and its crazy how much this actually helps me feel better

Today:

* Yesterday I did all upstairs and today I totally spring cleaned the whole of my downstairs so now my whole house is sparkling, it's crazy how a clean clean house can my you feel better.

* OH is out for the day with his mates so i'm having a lovely time with the remote all to myself

* Jack went to sleep at 6:30 so I've had a few hours to myself (although I miss him ) this will prob turn into a negative tomorrow when he gets me up at sill o clock but hey thats another day.

Thats about it really but another good day I think..


Ooooh I was naughty and just ordered myself a pizza, naughty girl

I hope Mhairi starts feeling better soon for you and well done on the National!! Put that money aside to treat yourself
