Orgasms to conceive?

I’m just really curious, how many of you orgasm while DTD?

I usually do but 90% of the time it’s before my husband which is great but I’ve read while TTC you need to orgasm 1 minute before him or up to 45 minutes after (before you get up). This is something to do with sperm retention. Studies showed more was retained in those parameters so for me, who usually orgasms waaay before my husband, orgasming is pretty useless although lovely.

I should add this study wasn’t testing conception rates so it didn’t report on whether a better retention was beneficial or not.

So if you do is it before your husband, at the same time, within 45 minutes after or not at all?

I don’t think you can say orgasm to many times? I read that it’s best to orgasm just after him, we usually go together so I’m hoping that works too!!

I have a daughter so this time around TTC we would like a little boy (I know it’s not a guarantee and I will be honestly happy if I had another girl but we wanted to at least do what we could for a boy) anyway, most articles I read said that if the female orgasms before the male it creates an alkaline environment which favours male sperm and not orgasming favours girls.
When we are TTC our first, I secretly wanted a girl so I faked my orgasm

I know the gender thing isn’t what your question was about but what I’m getting at is that I don’t think that orgasming particularly helps with conceiving. I think it’s more down to the right timing and quality of eggs/sperm. I could be wrong though

I go before for the most part. Amount of time before is dependant on how desperate for nookie I am!! Sometimes I can hold it until he goes.

Mmm..... I wish he didn't work so late. Getting me frisky just thinking about it!

OMG how many women orgasm a minute before their partners?!!! Seems majorly unrealistic. I don't think it matters much. If you are really concerned make sure he orgasms first and you second. But it's a lot of pressure and I don't think it's necessary.
